User roles

There are different roles in Kinoko that allow for different levels of access to your farm. When you register your farm, you are automatically given an administrator role for the farm.

The different roles are

• Farm administrator This role gives complete access to your entire farm. This role can invite users, update subscriptions, and see information regarding all sub-farms underneath your farm.
• Sub-farm administrator This role gives complete access over the sub-farm the user is an administrator of.
• Base user This role only has access to the mobile application (used for data entry). They will not be able to sign into the web app unless they are a sub-farm administrator of a different sub-farm. A user could be a sub-farm administrator of Farm A, a base user of Farm B, and have no role in Farm C. This gives you control over who can affect which sub-farms data.
